Our Story
Our love started over 5 years ago in Lexington, KY; just a New England gal and a SoCal dude. If it wasn't for our first jobs out of college taking us away from home, our paths probably would have never crossed. When we met at the boxing gym it was #LueckAtFirstSight, and after months of taking classes together we finally had our first conversation (on Hinge!). Even though our first few dates started off a little rocky, Jade having to leave early for a "work meeting at 8pm" and Jake undercooking Jade's chicken, we bonded over our love for our sports teams, crappy realty TV shows, and recreational sports.
3 years ago we decided to find new jobs, pack up our things, and spontaneously move to the Desert - Scottsdale, AZ. Little did we know that would be the best decision we ever made, and quickly grew our family with our Aussiedoodle, Ryder, who is the life of the party just like us.
Because of our love for hiking, it was only right for Jake to pop the question and ask Jade to marry him at Papago Park's "Hole in the Rock" during the Sunset, surrounded by family.
As new homeowners in Phoenix, we are making this beautiful state our home for the foreseeable future.
